From now on, Randy Moss will only grace NFL TV screens on Sundays.
The legendary former Minnesota Vikings receiver reportedly negotiated a new contract with ESPN, and according to the New York Post, the deal included his withdrawal from Monday Night Football.
Moss ultimately decided to stop playing Monday night, and Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio noted that a tight schedule may have been a reason for the decision.
In addition to all the homework demands that come with the job, there was the flight to Bristol, then the flight to the actual Monday night soccer game location, and then the flight home again.
The mileage is really starting to add up.
But it’s definitely good news that he at least stayed on ESPN on Sunday. who wants to imagine a world without the acclaimed “You’re growing moss” clip?
