Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemon married after 6 years together

First an Oscar nomination, then marriage!

Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemon tied the knot after about six years together, her rep told Page Six. “I can confirm that they are married,” the rep said. “No other details will be provided.”

A source told the media that the couple got married last weekend in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.

The wedding of the couple, who got engaged more than five years ago and now have two children, has been a long time coming.

Kirsten, 40, and Jesse, 34, welcomed their first child, a son named Ennis Howard Plemons, in 2018. Last September, she announced they had welcomed their second child and introduced son James Robert York Times in an interview with The New.

“This is the newest guy, the big Kahuna,” Kirsten told the publication. “He’s an angel, but he’s a hungry angel. And a heavy angel.”

Kirsten Dunst over the years

Jesse and Kirsten originally met on the set of “Ice and Blood Storm” in 2015 and made their off-screen romance debut the following year.

Jesse said during a panel discussion in 2015, “I’ve loved Kirsten’s work for a long time, and when I met her I was really excited.” She’s a wonderful person and we’re all actors, just …… having fun with the material.”

The Spider-Man actress first publicly showed off her engagement ring at the Palm Springs Film Festival in 2017, confirming their plans to walk down the aisle one day.

However, she revealed last year that her pregnancy was part of the reason why she and Jesse postponed their wedding plans.

“I’ve been pregnant and I kind of want to enjoy my wedding,” the Bring It On alum joked to Jimmy Kimmel in November. “I just want to drink and have a good time. We’ll do that soon.”

They reached another milestone in February when Jesse and Kirsten received their first Oscar nomination after co-starring in the film “The Power of the Dog. “It’s crazy to be a couple and get our first nomination together,” she told Variety at the time. “It’s like a storybook. You know what I mean? It’s so weird. It’s amazing.”

While they just made things legal, that didn’t stop the couple from affectionately referring to each other as spouses before. As Kirsten told the Los Angeles Times in February, they “refer to each other as husband and wife.” It looks like those names will stick.
